here princey prince prince...with Tiddly Ink's!

Oh dear. What do we have here? Another beautiful woman with extraordinarily long hair, leaning over the walls of her castle, waiting patiently for her prince. Did he get lost? Maybe he knocked on the wrong gate? Maybe he should stop and ask for directions? Or maybe his horse went wild and he's stuck in a ditch somewhere. Or maybe he's just not ready for a woman of her caliber. Who knows!

Well boys, if any of you happen to find your way to my blog :) :) :) Hi. Um....welcome! Look up once in a while. You might be surprised who is looking back. It just might be Rapunzel.

Now onto the Crafty Challenge! This week, Tiddly Ink's challenges us to create a card with the theme "Kiss Me, You Fool" using your Tiddly Ink's Digis which you may explore here. To visit the Tiddly Ink's Challenge Blog, go here.

Some of you may recognize the sweet Shaela from her term with our Critter Crew and we are very happy to have her back as our February Guest :)

Today we have Team Anya joining us for FFF as well, so it's without further adieu that we also welcome PEGGY McCURRY as our FEBRUARY GUEST DESIGNER for Team Anya! Peggy has been a long-time fan of the Farm and has wow'd us with her amazing layouts (which we've CASED a few times, I think!) and we are glad to have her!

Always exciting here on the Farm! And now onto the Challenge! This week, we invite our friends and customers to join us in our "Hat's Off to You!" challenge!...use a HAT theme on your card or project!

FFF A Cheeky Dimensional Card with TGF!!!

Good Day Everyone! I hope this finds you rested, feeling well and in increasingly better health :)
Have you ever found yourself at a loss for words because someone has pleasantly stunned you with their kindness? On such occasions, maybe you have been inspired to bake them a pie. Take them out to lunch. Make them a card. Or something to let them know their kindness meant a lot to you. "Thank You" is sometimes the best response they can hear, or maybe even the only thing we may be capable to give. And that's ok. :) And the lovely lady featured in the card below, Cheeky Cherry Pie managed to do it all! Bake a pie and say "Thanks" all while being dressed to the nines! Lucky Lady!
A BRIEF HOW TO:
You are Weclome to join in with Splendid Stamping with The Greeting Farm's FFF (Farm Fresh Friday) challenge which is to use a Dimensional Technique in your card along with TGF images. To achieve the 3D effect for my Cheeky Cherry Pie card, I simply stamped the entire image twice, then colored and cut out the images I wanted to pop out (her pie, arm and hair tie). Second, I glued a tiny piece of foam board between the first layer and second layer (of the pie/her arm) to make it literally "pop out". That's it! There are many ways to make your projects pop out, you could use springs that actually wobble and shake a little bit, or foam board, or simply bend a piece of cardstock and glue behind your images. Whatever you do, do it with SASS!

SUPPLIES:
Cheeky Cherry Pie by The Greeting Farm/"Thanks" from Hello-Go-Round by The Greeting Farm/2 small white heart doilies which were stamped with Brilliance inks/cloud scissors/colored in Copics, Distress Inks/diamond stickles/2 small pieces of foam board for behind pie and arm/white marker for details/decorative corner punches/scalloped circle punch for around sentiment/free recipe card template printed from this website here

I hope you found some inspiration here on Strawberry Road! Onward and Upward!!!

Ciao!

Love,

Buttercup :) XOXO

Fabulous Inky Fridays with Tiddly Ink's!!! :)

SCROLL DOWN for Farm Fresh Friday Post with TGF!

Busy! Busy! Pick up this. Drop off that. Go there. Go there. Don't forget to give him that. And to tell her about this. Clean. Sweep. Exercise. Go up the hill. Make the list. Where did I put that receipt? Find it! Quick!

We rush around! All over town! And that is fine for a while, but in between the chaos, let's remind ourselves to slow down...to smile... I forget this all too often. And who better than "Royal Proclamation" by Tiddly Ink's to set the tone. BUSY is a serious condition! Sit down, drink water and breathe immediately. Call your nearest girlfriend or boyfriend and set up a fun session asap! Reevaluate your "to do" list, find more "to don'ts", "neverminds" and have fun!

This is what making this little card was teaching me. To pause. Pause for a good cause. Love is a good cause. Friends are a good cause. I am sure there are more but those are the basic ones I stand behind.

It is important to be stern with yourself on some matters. Be discilplined. Skilled. Excellent. And serious. But TAKE A BREAK for Heaven's Sake! Being focussed is only cute for so long! Then it's time to LAUGH!

SUPPLIES: "Royal Proclamation" by Tiddly Inks/Sentiment by Tim Holtz clear stamps/FREE arch template by Gothic Arches/colored in Copics, distress ink/Sunburst Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels/ 3 felt heart stickers/3 mini roses/diamond stickles/black marker/black thread for border stitches

Thank You for stopping by!!!

Have a Pausitivly Paustastic Day!

Buttercup :) XOXO

FFF Black, Turquoise & ? TGF Color Challenge! :)

Welcome!!! Here we have a color challenge! Use Turquoise, Black and ONE other color! I decided to use red. But I snuck a little buttercream in there too! It is challenging to use just 3 colors!!! So my turquoises are in different values and saturation levels, so I kind of stretched the rules!

Supplies: "Sweet & Toxic" and "Because of You" by The Greeting Farm. Copics/Lace/Heart Punches/Red & White paint markers/Sizzix Frame Back Ornate #5/and just a little Diamond Stickles

This is one of my favorite stamps! She is so cute and full of sass!

Happy Crafting & Blogging!
